Fish N Float Adventures     ** See 2008 Spring Trout Specials **
24" walleye - Potomac River offers a variety of guided kayak/canoe fishing trips, scenic paddles, fly fishing and shore fishing adventures throughout Maryland and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Our home waters are the lakes, rivers and streams of Central Maryland.

Our goal is to introduce our clients and friends to the wonders of fishing and paddling, while placing an emphasis on beautiful scenery, wildlife viewing, and lots of fun.

Every trip is catered to the desires of our clients - whether a crash course in fly-fishing for trout, a relaxing paddle with an emphasis on bird watching, or a quest for a trophy Potomac River smallmouth or walleye.

We have spent over twenty years learning the waters of Maryland, and now we want to share our experience with people who will appreciate it and share our love of fishing, paddling, and the outdoors.

While we specialize in advanced fishing techniques, we really enjoy teaching others to fish. We want to maximize the enjoyment of this experience and we think that happens not only through having a great day, but through learning something new that can be applied to future fishing trips and float adventures.

If you're looking to come by yourself or bring a friend or your family, we can certainly accommodate you. We have a variety of trips, each equipped with high quality gear and experienced guides.

Crappie on Greenbrier from Kayak
New to Kayak Fishing? You're going to love it!! Fishing from kayak allows you to sneak up on fish and hit those hot-spots that other anglers can't get to. It is a quiet and peaceful experience, and can be great exercise if you'd like. Plus, we believe the rhythm of paddling a kayak imparts an action on the lures that triggers more strikes and can not be replicated. The bottom line is - catching a fish from a kayak is a blast! The fish are right there by your side - they practically jump in your lap.

See Boats & Gear for details about our kayaks.
